What is Embodiment ?
It is fully listening to the world through the body. It’s about feeling the world through the breath, hearing your own heart beat.
What is Embodiment Practice?
Cultivating Emotional intelligence:self-regulation, emotional expression
Bodily intelligence: Somatic awareness, breath, movement, stillness
It can be any action in our ordinary daily life, "The way of life" means yoga.
Many cultures have Embodiment Practices as ceremony, ritual from ancient time ago.
For example from my ancestral background Japanese tea ceremony was not about only drinking green tea or tasted yummy sweet, it was about Embodiment Practice in each movement of walking, open & close the door, holding tea cup how to talk etc…
Our life today we almost forgot how to listen our heart beat.
Embodiment Practices can invoke a shift in our consciousness whether it be in stillness or in active motion. It can be accessible way to restore the equilibrium of mind and heart. When you are exhausted or restless in your busy daily life, Embodiment Practice can create a shift in your consciousness to bring greater awareness and peace within you.
In each Embodiment Practice has great potential that we can bring back our true human nature.
